Manor Renewable Energy places order for 500th JCB Generator

This month Manor Renewable Energy (MRE) has placed their order for the 500th JCB generator to be supplied for the company’s offshore wind services. MRE has cultivated a successful partnership with Watling JCB over the last five years, working together to create a reliable and durable temporary power solution which is unrivalled in the offshore renewables sector.

Billy Hamilton, Sales Director at MRE commented “MRE has worked closely with Watling JCB to ensure continuous improvement and reliability of service over the past 5 years, whilst remaining cost effective in a competitive market. This has considerably strengthened our service offering to our Offshore Wind clients. Working with Watling JCB has enabled us to develop a robust and reliable system resulting in increased operational availability of the generators offshore. The Watling JCB team offer a great service and are responsive to our urgent requirements.”

Due for delivery in April 2021, MRE will be placing their 500th JCB generator offshore on the Hornsea Two offshore wind farm, where it will generate the temporary power requirement needed for the successful turbine commissioning.

Richard Telfer, Managing Director at Watling JCB said “The partnership between Watling JCB and Manor Renewable Energy over the last 5 years has been fantastic. We have now supplied MRE with their 500th JCB Generator operating in the offshore wind sector. To us and our customers, power is crucial, therefore we have invested very hard in support systems to maintain our award-winning customer service. Working with MRE is a pleasure and we are thoroughly looking forward to the years to come.”
