Manor Renewable Energy announces strategic partnership with Dehum

From June 2018, Manor Renewable Energy (MRE) are pleased to announce a new strategic partnership with the internationally recognised humidity control specialists, Dehum. The collaboration combines the market-leading products of Dehum with the vessels, generators and offshore experience of MRE, to combat the growing issue of maintaining stable atmospheric environments, within the confined spaces of offshore windfarm assets.

Toby Mead , Operations Director of MRE commented “since 2013, MRE has provided fully integrated temporary power packages to 12 European offshore wind projects and as a company we have adapted our offering based on the many lessons learnt in delivering those projects; this partnership is a natural extension of that capability and one that will provide damage protection and reduce costly practical issues to transition piece equipment and internal structures, as a whole”.

According to Engineering Manager James Arnold, entering into the partnership was a logical step, “Dehum has designed and installed humidity control systems in some of the worlds harshest conditions and further expanding our offshore portfolio with such a progressive company as MRE makes perfect sense; the collaborative opportunity means that we can offer a completely bespoke solution to one of the renewable energy sectors current hot topics and working with MRE allows us to offer tailored packages for any offshore wind installation, no matter how adverse the expected conditions”.

About Manor Renewable Energy MRE was established in 2013 and has rapidly become recognised for their knowledge and experience in delivering temporary power and engineering solutions offshore; based in Portland, Dorset they provide and deliver experienced teams of engineers and marine specialists for a range of support services to the offshore renewables sector.
